Carol Yujin Man, designers/ Miller residence design

This project aims to integrate the exterior and interior through breaking and shifting the existing house, as a representation of the segmented geography of San Diego. Biomimicry and a love of nature are the driving concepts of the Miller’s residence. The shifting design strategy created some “in-between spaces” that bring more life into them, and create new, green interior/exterior connections.
