Century Home Kitchen

Best of Houzz 2016 Kitchen and Dining Room Design winner. A custom kitchen remodel was one of the last projects that returned this stately Century Home to its former grandeur. Careful attention to detail paid homage to the feel of a period kitchen, but with all the modern conveniences expected in today. A large "closet" hallway was transformed into a butler pantry and powder room, with a display cabinet for the original knob and tube electric panel.

The porcelain floor set on the diagonal runs throughout the kitchen and hall, with the dining room through the door on the left. Michael Jacob Photography

The original knob and tube electric panel, still in use in this Century home, was turned into an interesting display with the addition of a glass door, interior display light, and new molding surround. Below the electric is a board found in a wall with the name of the original plumbing company used when the home was built. Michael Jacob Photography
