The master bedroom features a low style bed, our own Brett Design Ostrich wallpaper and string curtains that give the room a spiritual feeling. The Seton Smith photographs add to the zen feeling, while an Hermes throw on the bed adds an extra touch of luxury. Time Warner Building Apartment | Interior design by Brett Design

With clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic, there’s a distinct resort feel to this home design, created to complement the sweeping coastal views and unique topography of our client’s City Beach block. Designed to embrace the vistas and northern light, yet provide privacy from the street, this intelligent home will be a genuine sanctuary. Elevation is therefore the key theme within this highly bespoke project, both literally (all indoor and outdoor living and entertaining areas are on the top floor) and spiritually, with the sparkling pool and glass waterfall entry statement setting the tone for a home conceived to relax the mind and lift the spirits.

Designed for a young couple with a recent newborn daughter, this residence is centered on a common area on the lower floor that supports a wide range of activities, from cooking and dining, family entertainment and music, as well as coming together as a family by its visually seamless transitions from inside to outside to merge the house into its’ cityscape. The large two-story volume of the living area keeps the second floor connected containing a semi-private master bedroom, walk-in closet and master bath, plus a separate private study. The integrity of the home’s materials was also an important factor in the design—solid woods, concrete, and raw metal were selected because they stand up to day to day needs of a family’s use yet look even better with age. Brick wall surfaces are carefully placed for the display of art and objects, so that these elements are integrated into the architectural fabric of the space.

We (Branimira Ivanova Desislava Ivanova) designed a bedroom and a bathroom separated from each other with a fireplace and a glass wall. The main objective of the spaces is to provide a complete relaxation of the senses – in the bedroom the color of the imagination and spirituality – the purple; Yellow is used for the bathroom. In this way the bathroom is like an oasis in the desert. We chose two different types of sinks, small round sink and wide long one, which can be used for different purposes. We decided to use console bidet and standing toilet. The bath is located next to the window with a nice view to the sea. The bathroom favours quiet conversations. While one is taking a bath, another one is having a cup of wine on the sofa enjoying the fireplace. Studie Gemini-Design Sofia
