Each year, just over 2% of the 3+ million professionals on Houzz receive this award.
Eligibility
Consideration for awards is free, automatic, and based on your profile, rating, and reviews—except for the Innovator award, where recipients have won the Best of Houzz Service, provide a first-class client experience by managing their business with Houzz Pro and have earned their Houzz Pro Certification.
Badges
All winners have a badge in the ‘Credentials’ section of their Houzz profile, helping homeowners identify popular and top-rated professionals in their area.
Promotional Kit
To help promote their award, winners also receive a promotional toolkit which includes social media assets, a press release template to announce their win and more.
Standouts
Winners with a Houzz Pro subscription can also promote their award in the ‘Standouts’ section of their profile and premium directory listing.

Increase your chances of being selected by uploading high-quality project photos of your best work and keywords in your image descriptions. This will help homeowners discover your photos when they search by style and location.

Use the ‘Get Reviews’ link on your profile page to encourage clients to share their experiences working with you. The earlier in the year you start reaching out for reviews, the more time your clients have to submit them before the end of the award year.
Come Out on Top
Just like the design awards, you’ll want to upload high-quality photos and pair them with relevant keywords and topics. Not only will this make them more searchable, it will increase their popularity potential on Houzz.
