How to Add a Verified License to Your Houzz Profile

Build trust among homeowners by showing you are a verified licensed professional in your Houzz profile. By simply displaying the Verified License badge, you can get 25% more leads and 35% more connections, compared to pros who don't have the badge.

It's easy to do — just provide us with your license information, and we’ll showcase a badge of verification on both your Houzz profile and directory listing. The badge shows up on both desktop and mobile, but it can only be added through the desktop version of Houzz Pro.

Once complete, homeowners will now know you’ve been vetted as a licensed professional when they view your profile.

If a homeowner clicks on your Verified License badge, they will be able to see all your license details.

To add the Verified License badge:

1. Go to your Houzz profile. Below your business name, click the “+ Add Verified License” button.

2. A new screen will appear where you can fill out your license details. Once done, click Submit.

3. If your license can be verified, you’ll see the Verified License badge on your Houzz profile. This usually takes less than a minute, but it can take a couple of hours in some cases.
