How to Cancel Your Houzz Pro Subscription

While we hope you love Houzz Pro, we understand that circumstances arise where you might need to cancel your Houzz Pro subscription.

If you paid for a Houzz Pro plan, you may recall that you read and agreed to the Pro Services Agreement. A copy of your agreement was emailed to you when you signed up. This agreement includes information about the cost of your software and/or advertising plan, the duration of your term, and when you can cancel your plan.

Currently, most of our plans are annual 12-month contracts. Depending on your current contract, there are a few ways to cancel.

Cancel Free Trial

If you wish to cancel and are still in the free trial phase, you can cancel on the device where you signed up.

If you signed up for the Houzz Pro free trial on your iPhone or Android, follow these step-by-step guidelines:

If you signed up for Houzz Pro on your desktop computer, you can manage your subscription settings here, or you can follow these steps.

To start:

1. Click on the Settings icon in your left navigation. For there, select Subscriptions from the menu.

2. You will then be able to view the details of your current subscription. Select Manage My Subscriptions to make changes.

3. You will then have three options: Submit a request to cancel your subscription, chat with support to change your plan, or view Help Center articles for additional support.

4. If you would like to move forward with the cancellation, select Submit Request.

5. Another screen will pop up to confirm you would like to cancel. If you want to continue, select Yes, I'd Like to Cancel.

6. You will then be able to provide feedback on your experience with Houzz Pro and why you chose to cancel. Once you confirm, your cancellation will be complete.

Sometimes things come up, and you might want to cancel your Houzz Pro Subscription but forgot to do so before your free trial ended.

If you forgot to cancel your Houzz Pro subscription before your free trial ended, we offer a 7-day grace period after your free trial ends to cancel your annual contract after the first month. If you cancel during that 7-day period after your free trial has ended, you will be billed for one month of Houzz Pro, but you will not have to pay the remainder of your annual contract. You will have access to Houzz Pro during this month.

Cancel on iPhone

Please note: This cancellation process only applies if you signed up for the Houzz Pro Flex plan on your iPhone or other iOS device.

Cancel on Android

Cancel Auto-Renewal

If you are enjoying your Houzz Pro subscription and wish to keep using Houzz but do not want to automatically renew after your current contract ends, you can let us know that you don't wish to auto-renew.

You must submit your do not auto-renew request for your Houzz Pro subscription at least 30 days before the date of your next contract renewal. Just as a reminder, this will not be an immediate cancellation — you will still need to complete the remainder of the 12-month contract.

You can either fill out this cancellation request form, contact your Customer Success Manager (if assigned one), or follow the steps below.

To start:

1. Click on the Settings icon in your left navigation. For there, select Subscriptions from the menu.

2. You will then be able to view the details of your current subscription. Select Manage My Subscriptions to make changes.

3. You will then have three options: Submit a request to cancel your auto-renewal on the date listed, chat with support to change your plan, or view Help Center articles for additional support.

4. If you would like to move forward with the cancellation, select Submit Request.

5. Another screen will pop up to confirm you would like to cancel. If you want to continue, select Continue.

6. You will then be able to provide feedback on your experience with Houzz Pro and why you chose to cancel. Once you confirm, your cancellation will be complete.

Cancel Mid-Contract

Most of our Houzz Pro plans are annual 12-month contracts, so you will not be able to cancel early. If you have any concerns about your annual contract, please contact your Customer Success Manager (if assigned one).
