How to Use Your Gmail Account to Send Marketing Emails

When you send marketing emails from within the Houzz Pro platform, you have the option to send them from an existing Gmail account or from your business email address via Houzz Pro. Let's take a look at the two options:

Send From Gmail: When you connect to and send campaigns with a Gmail account, your recipients will view the email as if it was sent directly from your Gmail account, ensuring the best deliverability. All emails will be sent to recipients with an unsubscribe option. The sent emails and incoming replies will also appear directly in your Gmail inbox.

Send From Non-Gmail: If you don't have a gmail account, or simply don't want to connect to it, when you send a marketing email through Houzz Pro, it will appear to your recipients as "you@yourbusiness.com via houzz.com". All emails will be sent to recipients with an unsubscribe option. The sent emails and incoming replies will also appear directly in your email inbox.

Connect and Send From Gmail

To connect to Gmail and send marketing emails directly from your Gmail account, follow these steps:

1. Go to ​​https://pro.houzz.com/manage/email-marketing (or navigate to the Email Marketing section via the Company icon in the left navigation) and create a campaign.

2. Click the Continue to Send button in the top right of the campaign.

3. Click Connect to Gmail button in the Step 1 section.

4. Select your Gmail account and sign in.

5. Click the Allow button to grant Gmail access to Houzz Pro.

You will now see a note under Step 1 - Sender email stating that "This email will be sent via Gmail". To disconnect your Gmail account and send with a non-gmail address via Houzz Pro, simply click Disconnect. You can connect again at any time.
