while tech advances but law can't keep up. I have fridge being controlled by some evil group or person. The new fridge went through control board change, several visits from repairmen--all under new fridge warranty-- and yet it continues to evolve. The temperature goes up and down, fridge section from 38 to 71 and freezer section -1 to 55 degrees. When I tried to decrease the temp on temp panel, the panel would not budge. It daunt on me that someone must be remotely controlling my fridge. I pointed out this possibility to manufacturer and repair crew but they said they had not heard such thing. Your posting about bluetooth and smart home is frightening one. Our condo being invaded many times. Home security system I have apparently can't ward off invaders. I have installed uniden guardian security cameras along with paid home security system but never once catch anyone. Someone remotely controls camera and security system. Whenever we go out, the person or persons would be in our place. They or he put varnish on our china and corning vision cookwares. Don't really know what kind of varnish toxic or not, I bought new ones and then those too have varnish. I tried to contact varnish companies online but my mail can't be sent. I have so many horror incidents but I don't know if they will let me post this one or not. Across the nation, houses are not built to stop people from entering. Picture window pane easily being removed from outside after they take the molding off. I look at the only window people might come in and saw cut around the window. I saw loose moldings around the window pane. One can took off the strips of molding around the window pane and remove the pane and climb right in without breaking glass pane. Better yet, cut around the window and remove the entire window with security sensor attached. With quick dry spec and paint, one can't tell whether the house being invaded or not. I contacted a window repairman and asked him how to secure my window. The only honest person I know because he told me that there is nothing one can do if people really want to come to your home through window or door. We need to come up with better home building products and tougher law to deal with home invasion. High tech also should have new set of law to deal with high tech related crimes. I hope I can post this comment or my experience to warn people. I hope building material company especially windows and doors can come up with better products. I will post more about my experience since 2010 later if this one is successful.
