Our customer had a large, uncovered deck, almost the length of the home. They wanted to add a partial covering to have some shade and protection from the elements. While the house has vinyl siding, they opted to go for the upgraded timber frame roof. The ceiling of the deck cover is tongue and groove pine. The timbers are pine as well. This rustic cover made a wonderful addition to their home, complimenting the existing character of the deck.

This particular picture exemplifies the picture framing on the bench. This customer wanted their deck to have seating around the edge. We built their deck and deck seating out of AZEK composite decking in Slate Grey. It features a double picture frame on the deck and single picture frame on the bench seating. This will be a lovely space for the customer to enjoy the outdoors in low maintenance on the comfort.

This finished edge "picture frame" hides the rough insides of composite decking and the groove that holds the hidden fasteners.

Timbertech Evolutions railing in black was used with upgraded 7.5" cocktail rail in Azek English Walnut. Also featured is the "pub table" below the deck to set drinks on while playing yard games or gathering around and admiring the views. This couple wanted a deck where they could entertain, dine, relax, and enjoy the beautiful Colorado weather, and that is what Archadeck of Denver designed and built for them!

This four bedroom beach house in Washington's South Sound is all about growing up near the water's edge during summer's freedom from school. The owner's childhood was spent in a small cabin on this site with her parents and siblings. Now married and with children of her own, it was time to savor those childhood memories and create new ones in a house designed for generations to come. At 3,200 square feet, including a whimsical Crow's Nest, the new summer cabin is much larger than the original cabin. The home is still about family and fun though. Above the 600 square foot water toys filled garage, there is a 500 square foot bunk room for friends and family. The bunk room is connected to the main house by an upper bridge where built-in storage frames a window seat overlooking the property. Throughout the home are playful details drawing from the waterfront locale. Paddles are integrated into the stair railing, engineered flooring with a weathered look, marine cleats as hardware, a boardwalk to the main entry, and nautical lighting are found throughout the house. Designed by BC&J Architecture.

This elevated deck is in Branchburg, NJ. Deck Pros replaced a small non-functional deck with a larger, more usable space. The decking is Wolf PVC in Amberwood and Rosewood colors. The decking is blind-fastened and features a contrasting picture frame border. The railing is a Fortress AL13 black aluminum rail system. This rail offers minimal impact on the view from the deck while being extremely strong. The rail is powder coated and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Deckorators low voltage lights are in every stair riser. This upgrade adds safety for a very low cost.
