Privacy screening with a galvanized wire fence. Here seen is star jasmine a non-native to grow on it but off camera is a a native lonicera Honeysuckle. The red bloomer is non-native Salvia greggii which tends to bloom about 9 months of the year and attracts hummingbirds. Non-native armeria lines the sidewalk, with native penstemon and Sulpher Buckwheat add more color and attract the native bees.

Our customer requested we gave his backyard a complete makeover, to do so we used an even mix of black Texas star gravel and white river rock, st Augustine sod, and we welded sheet metal to provide a visual separation and drain for excess water flow.

New irrigation was installed with zoysia palisades sod. We created a black star gravel fire pit area with Japanese Yews along the fence line for added privacy and more quaint setting in the yard. In the back corner, we constructed a cedar trellis garden with star of jasmine ivy and a collection of foxtail ferns.

We transformed this backyard with a stunning porcelain paver patio and a Texas xeriscape garden featuring New Mexico river rock and Blackstar gravel. Native plant selections, including Agapanthus, Turks Cap, Aspidistra, Dianella, Gulfstream Nandina, and Liriope, were thoughtfully integrated with a drip irrigation system for optimal growth. Complemented by Zoysia Grass Sod and enhanced by high-efficiency LED landscape lighting, the area is enclosed by an 8-foot Horizontal Cedar Fence for privacy and elegance. A seamless fusion of aesthetics and functionality.
