The designer, Bonnie from Signature Designs Kitchen & Bath, pulled out all the stops with 5 niches, 7 different tile selections (4 glass, 1 marble and 2 porcelain) and top of the line fixtures ALL that harmonize into this fantastically creative bathroom. The shower pan was hand cut and hand placed (made out of the main floor tile) in alternating orientations to give a mosaic look. The "Love Me" Aquabrass wall mount faucets, the Luxury "do everything" Toto Bidet, the custom 1/2" starfire curved top shower enclosure, the intricate tile work, the Taj Mahal Satin Quartzite with a waterfall edge, the dual Robern medicine cabinets with side lights

In a bathroom that was tight on space we created this unique combined shower and bath area fully enclosed in glass. Overhead shower and body sprays create a hotel like experience while the super deep tub is fantastic to soak in.

Coronado, CA
The Alameda Residence is situated on a relatively large, yet unusually shaped lot for the beachside community of Coronado, California. The orientation of the “L” shaped main home and linear shaped guest house and covered patio create a large, open courtyard central to the plan. The majority of the spaces in the home are designed to engage the courtyard, lending a sense of openness and light to the home. The aesthetics take inspiration from the simple, clean lines of a traditional “A-frame” barn, intermixed with sleek, minimal detailing that gives the home a contemporary flair. The interior and exterior materials and colors reflect the bright, vibrant hues and textures of the seaside locale.

Flavin Architects collaborated with Ben Wood Studio Shanghai on the design of this modern house overlooking a blueberry farm. A contemporary design that looks at home in a traditional New England landscape, this house features many environmentally sustainable features including passive solar heat and native landscaping. The house is clad in stucco and natural wood in clear and stained finishes and also features a double height dining room with a double-sided fireplace.

The reconfiguration of the master bathroom opened up the space by pairing a platform shower with a freestanding tub. The open shower, wall-hung vanity, and wall-hung water closet create continuous flooring and an expansive feeling. The result is a welcoming space with a calming aesthetic.

The room was very small so we had to install a countertop that bumped out from the corner, so a live edge piece with a natural branch formation was perfect! Custom designed live edge countertop from local wood company Meyer Wells. Dark concrete porcelain floor. Chevron glass backsplash wall. Duravit sink w/ Aquabrass faucet. Picture frame wallpaper that you can actually draw on.
