I'm in the process in redesigning my family room. It's is open to our kitchen and an eat in area. I have a wall with 3 tall (84") windows, a fireplaces that is cornered (flat screen tv over it) and 2 perpendicular walls. The ceilings is about 18 feet tall. The overall dimension of the room is 19 x 20. I'm not sure how to place the furniture so that the room is open and airy. The colors and tones I'd like to use are tan, cream, and blues in a transitional style. My kitchen cabinets are a pecan color. Help!
