glass or plastic?

I ordered a Maxim Lighting product from another dealer through ebay. The description of the shade was "Shade/Glass/Material: White" just as this description. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find out that the shade was plastic. Please tell me about this shade. Is it plastic or glass? If glass I will order 2.
