Dnise, This appears to be a wood floor that they have laid in a herringbone pattern. You can achieve this look with any kind of material as long as it is a brick shape. If it is wood- I would strongly consider how you would ever refinish it as you would probably have to do so by hand. Tile that looks like wood would be an interesting option.
