I love Ben Moore colors myself! The grey color you chose is classy, but a soft accent color to the grey is nice as well. Keep it simple and don't over think it :)

would it look dumb to do one bold wall with evening dove and then the other walls a gray?

i guess my issue is not knowing what colors have what kinds of undertones. Picking a gray to go with this bold color sounds easy enough but.... lol, paint is hard!

I really like the background colour of the picture that you have posted with the bedspread .

Check out Stonington Gray - my favorite. We have it in our master bedroom and when we move into our new house I'm thinking of doing the living areas in that color. It's great - not too dark! I also like your suggestion of doing one wall in the Evening Dove and doing the other in gray.

If you want cozy, go darker. For airy and light, I would go with a lighter color and you could consider a grey/blue instead of grey. Hope the pictures give you a feel on either direction. Once you move in and palce your items in room, consider the light, etc. it will be easier to make a decision. Purchase samples of a light and dark paint and you'll find out quick enough. In regards to the lighting fixture, these are very popular and should be found at any large lighting store. Enjoy your new home.

Go bold. It's only paint. I think the key to a bold shade (like the one in your photo) is the contrasting white molding….it frames the gorgeous color and makes it sing.
