Shed ceiling -- normal ceiling height in the house is 9 ft. The chandler is now at 28.5" from the table. Note the finial at the bottom of the chandler is included in this measurement. If this is not considered, it is exactly 30" from the bottom globe. Frankly, if higher I think it would not be attractive. BTW, considering putting shades on this piece as well. Will take better pictures in the daylight.
