How much space is there between the island, and the surroundings? This is just about the same size as my kitchen, and we have a blank canvas to work with. This is almost the exact layout we chose only our kitchen is a U shaped. It looks like there is a walk through beside the fridge here.. not in mine. Regardless, we have been torn on the idea of the stove in the island because we don't want it to be too cramped. Also wondering what are the dimensions of this kitchen?
