I like what you have done so far! I see a natural vibe with the black as the basic backdrop. I would maybe switch the coverlet for a eggshell coloured one. The dresser could be black as well or I have seen a fabric covered one at Pier1 that might go with your room.

Mveasey I absolutely love that dresser but it would blend with my walls ..... Do you think it's okay to have mismatch furniture that is the same color , I feel like that may look like I tried to match it and failed ????

I like the colors you are working with, how about adding a mirrored dresser? I personally am not a huge fan of the mirror above the bed, I think it is really pretty but I don't think it works well with this room. I would add a painting above the bed that continues the blue from your bedding or a cool neutral but patterned wallpaper behind the bed.

I would go with a long black modern dresser. You could purchase two units and place side by side (if wall is long enough) and place your mirror above. Lots of space on dresser for both decorative and useful items. On back wall of bed, perhaps sisal grass cloth wallpaper (last pic). Bamboo type shades on windows. Create a natural, modern and relaxed room by your bedding colors and layering.

Consider layering curtains over the blinds to soften the look of the window. But if you remove the blinds, be sure and get a blackout liner for the curtains so you can sleep soundly.
