We just moved into our new custom built home and now need to figure out window treatments. These paper shades have got to go! I love all of the light that the window let in, so I don't want to cover them up too much. What type of window treatments will work best? I like simple treatments (roman shades/panels). I was thinking of installing either solid fabric or natural woven roman shades on all 6 windows and then patterned panels on the two windows flanking the fireplace. Is there a better solution? I'll also eventually need to figure out something for the breakfast area. Tables and rugs are being replaced! One thing at a time. :)
