I vote for a new door that matches.

You could go with something that has glass (either clear or semi-opaque). If it has panes like a french door, you could paint it the same color as the wall next to it to have it blend into the background.

Make a hide-a-way door that matches the drywall. It's a bit far out and creative, but it will be a great talking point once it's done.

just wash the wood door with gray paint to match the finish on the barnwood . . practice on some wood trim that is going anyway . . or hire a stain wizard painter and let him do it for you. If the door matches it will help balance.

Maybe whitewash the bricks & add a barn wood ( beam) mantel. Your room looks dark & your TV cabinets appear to be close to the wall color. I would paint TV cabinets white, place the barn wood as the counter top. Then see if the door really bothers you. Good luck!

HI -- I would have a door made in the same barn board and the wall around it so it all blends together and the door disappears . I assume that door goes into the garage so you may have to cover a plain fire door with the wood and I 'm not sure but I don't think you can use nails to do that but glue . Maybe using a flooring that looks like barn wood may work out better for you.
