I don't blame you for not wanting to put something out that might be stolen. You could plant some flowers along the fence line that would help your curb appeal. Do you live in an area where there's a drought?

Hi Elle, I would first think about what sort of garden that you are looking for. Is it cottage with lots of flowers or tropical with palms or formal with same plantings ....just think about what you would like...if you are going to put pots...make them big....so they are hard to take...so start off with your garden look. Then I would go down to the garden center and look at pots...sometimes this will lead you to a certain type of garden...Also, think of a colour scheme if you can...pastels or green or brights....I just had a look online for some pics...so disappointing...there was nothing that stood out to me...I have always had a nice garden and they all look pretty ordinary..if that...not good really I would put big black glazed pots with standard plants in them and do a formal planting on the driveway with at blended flower boarder...2 rows. I like the look of the first pic idea....a standard plant in a large pot ...even though this is not planted...I like the idea and large black glazed pots. Also I like the balanese syle pots along with the formal planting ....hope this helps
