Just bought a home with real wood paneled walls exactly like these. I don't want the room to appear dark, but everyone is saying "Keep the wood!" Should I paint the entire panels or maybe just the insets as these are done? Or is it fabric? Help! I'm putting in dark wood floors and don't want my living room to look like a coffin. However, this room is gorgeous! Thx!
