Dining Room color

Trying to decide on a color to paint my dining room. It has oak bead board all the way around the room half way up the wall. It also has oak floors. It has a large bay window on the west wall. I would like burgundy or a greyish blue but do not know if it would be too dark with all the wood. What would you suggest?
