My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What is the siding material and finish used here? Redwood and stain? Or a semi solid or solid finish? It's very pretty. Thanks in advance!

    Great to hear from you! The exterior cladding is clear cedar with a slightly pigmented stain. It looked beautiful when it was first completed and still looks amazing today!

    Thanks! We have tight-knot cedar siding and I was hoping to achieve close to the same effect with a semi-solid stain. (We also have a mid-century 50s house with a butterfly roofline.) Apologies for the follow up question, but do you have any suggestions on a particular brand and color to get the same effect as this house?
