The actual doors would be way too heavy for home use but you might be able to get a metal shop to fabricate something out of aluminum that would be more practical, I guess before I did that I would ask my client, maybe he would prefer not to be reminded of work when he comes home. As for finding a shop you will have to do some leg work with a sketck of what you want.

I get your point about it being heavy.
Since this website is dedicated for homes and residential projects I have decided to ask the question as if I need it for a house, when in fact the project is an office remodel.

It might work there get in touch with some of the companies that sell used containers and see if you get luck and then I would paint it so cool color.
