I am considering a kitchen remodel where a ~7 foot island with backless counter height stools will be located 4 to 5 feet away from a ~6 foot long counter height table with stools that have backs. They would be parallel to each other.

I am concerned that there isn't enough room between the two. All of the pics on Houzz show a table much farther away. Is this too close?
