This question is way too general for anybody here to be of assistance. I would start perusing inspiration photos of design that appeals to you and then hire a designer to give you some direction.

Check in the PROS section. You can peruse designers' work there, and by following their threads, get a good idea of their aesthetics and work methods. If you have never worked w a designer before, you may find some of the articles on hiring PROS of use, as well. Best of luck.
