Lighten up the room with a greige. Curtains to complement your aqua/teal and cream accents

I would do a shade of blue from the picture. Get paint samples and hold up to your painting. Light is the best as the furniture is very dark. I would do linen in contrasting complimentary color. Probably move to a shade of red or yellow. You can do all of this with paint chip samples from anywhere.

A more dramatic move might be to take the brown colour in the lower left hand corner of your picture and paint the room that colour. While you "blend" the room together, the artwork will look absolutely stunning.I would then use bedding that picks up the lighter colour (don't neglect the power of the real estate space a bed takes up in a room) and curtains in a lighter colour. This will draw the eye to the bed and the picture above it. Cream color for wall will look great and for bedding I would like to prefer brown.

I would keep the walls light and also the curtains and pick up the blues from the painting in your bedlinen. A touch of rose pink or lemon would help a lot. Maybe some cushions? Also, don't do anything until you find the colours you love.
