My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Efficient kitchen triangle?

Just wondering if anyone had suggestions to make this kitchen more efficient for 1 or more cooks at a time? I was debating putting the island on an angle. We are early in the project & can make changes to the interior layout :) Would you do open shelving on the sink wall- as it's visible from the living room for interest?

    Don't make the island too far away. 42" away from the counters is as far as I would recommend. Don't put it at an angle either. You be bumping into that sharp corner cursing the day you were trying to be "different". You can certainly make the island as wide as your reach on either side to give you the ability to work on both of the longer sides.
