Angled top/trapezoidal windows

Our new home has unusual windows everywhere. Most are angled top windows (triangular top, rectangular/square bottom, with no dividers). On the west-facing wall, we have 2 very large (74" width with 32" height on tall leg, 6.5" height on the short leg) windows over a patio door to a deck and over a regular rectangular window on the 2nd floor. This room was very warm in the winter, and is now unbearable now that spring is here. Previously all windows in the house were covered in decrepit vertical blinds that disintegrated during removal for painting. The views from these windows are amazing especially at sunset and at night, so we would prefer to be able to open them. All windows in the house will need to be replaced once our budget allows for it, as they all leak, and the sun has destroyed all the window screens. Any ideas for window coverings, types of windows to replace these with, etc? The unusual windows really add to this room, as they follow the shape of the vaulted ceiling line, so we would prefer not to change the shape if possible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
