How to set this clock?

I can't set this clock! The instructions which came with it don't work!

Please find the directions below:

1. Press both “SET” and “WAVE” button for 5 seconds.

So the second hand will move rapidly , then stop at “10” or “2”.
If second hand stop at “10”, it’s the quartz mode.
2. Press the “SET” button for 3 seconds to turn to manual setting mode.

3. Press the “SET” button again until near the time , you should keep pressing the “SET” button,

after that you push the “SET” button one by one to the time now.

4. After 6 seconds from when you release the button, the clock will start.
