    It's 1x3 battens on cedar plywood, meant to replicate the original board and batten siding. The battens are spaced at 16" on center to cover the vertical plywood joints.

    Did you seal or caulk the joints as well before adding the battens? Do you think this material would hold up to New England temp changes?
