We recently purchased a split level mid-century home... after this past Michigan winter, replacing the original single pane windows became one of our top priorities. We are debating about what type of window configuration to use in this living room. On the one hand, using solid panes may open up the view that we love even more. On the other hand, I would like to be able to enjoy the connection with the nature by being able to open the windows... any suggestions?
