Your infrastructure - the beige/tan tile & tub along with oak trim & cherry vanity - will form the foundation of tan and brown. I especially like "pear tones" at the link below. I'd then go with something like the golden/light gray/ and deep gray as colors on the wall and in accessories.

Light-medium gray paint, white towels, white art with a bit of blue. From what I can see of your frog art, it would look very nice too!

I really like the idea of using a grey. I was a little worried it might not go with all the tan I have. The pear tones look great! I agree a white toilet would be nice but I have hesitated because right a crossed from it is a matching tan built in shower console. (Tough to see in my pictures.)I'm just not ready to pull that out at this time. Thanks so much for the responses.

Yes, I agree, Meg. Better to wait on the toilet til you're ready to replace it all. Otherwise, one or the other is going to stick out like a sore thumb. I always say, better to work WITH what you have rather than AGAINST it. The end result will be better.

Sea Salt or a pale blue will go nicely with you fixtures.

I finally have the wallpaper border stripped and a couple of paint samples up. I chose SW Gray Clouds. I wonder what you ladies think of it. In the second photo I have SW Big Chill on top and SW Gray Clouds below it. Do you think these selections go with all my tans. I do love the gray idea but maybe I should go warmer? I like the Gray Clouds, it goes with the gray streaks in your granite.

Gray clouds would have been OK if you'd painted the cabinetry. I believe the best color on this palette for your walls would have to be the center yellow/tan color. This color incorporates both the beautiful tan sweeps in the granite countertops and will be warm enough to be up next to the cabinetry and doors. If your heart is set on the gray, maybe a mid to low wall faux chair-rail inline with the back splash carried-through around all bathroom walls could be incorporated. And just a note, if you still have boys, of any age, using this bathroom stay far, far away from white towels anywhere in here.

JLC Custom, the yellow/tan is what I've had in there the last 13 years , I'm wanting a change. Any other color ideas? Although always hard to interpret color on a computer, you also lack natural light in the bath which is making me see a lot of blue in the gray clouds. I think you need a warmer, "dirtier" gray like Worldly Gray SW7043. The gray clouds color next to the shower is fighting instead of bridging the gap between the tan/beige and your red based oak trim. Maybe try to find something more like the 4th color in the pear palette and add dark gray towels - a win-win as far as boys go. And, it would all tie back in to your vanity top.
