Just received an estimate of $2,800 to paint a 600 sf area (no nooks or crannies or other architectural detail that would make the job more complex) for a faux finish (no drawing of gardens or scenes - just a sponge/rag effect on the walls). Was wondering if this was a reasonable amount (seemed high to me). Any feedback would be appreciated. Amounts to $4.66 per SF.
