How about ikea billy bob glass door bookcase flanking the tv? Here is the complete look, but too large for the wall. Just the glass door cabinet on both sides. But then, you'll need to remove the china hutch from that wall.

I would prefer to keep the hutch , I like the stand though

To me it would make more sense to switch the TV and the sofa. Then the hutch will look good too.
I'd go for something like this but probably in white. Would look great on that dark wall. It's from Ikea. Or the second one (also from Ikea)

Is that a stove in the corner?

I think some of the suggestions are too contemporary for the space. If you are planning on keeping the china hutch, then any other furniture you add needs to blend with the honey oak Shaker china cabinet. Here is one I found with a quick image search on Google that would coordinate well with the style of the china hutch. I think you should also get a larger tv. Put this one in a guest bedroom.

Oh..... I almost forget, get some framed artwork on the walls too.

Yes it is a pellet stove, to help with the wonderful winter months

you definitely need a big tv storage unit, even IKEA has some nice ones.
also the shelf with dishes has to go. it and sofa cant work in the same room

It looks like you like to mix contemporary with traditional. That will work.

You really need a large console to ground the tv.

There is an issue with 3 large hardscapes on that wall: stove, tv, china cabinet.

I like the idea of switching tv and sectional, but would that work for you with the fireplace beside the sofa?

I could try flipping it all and see how it flows! My concern is the arm so close to stove. Thanks for comments/ideas . Bigger tv is on the list but want to buy console first. IKEA does have some good stuff ...

Stacie, I was thinking maybe you could separate the sectional.....maybe take the chaise off...but is there a place to put it?

Really sectional is too large for the space. You are not alone....I find this a lot.

What is in the adjacent space? Can we see a photo?

Search for "mission tv cabinet" in google images or through a product search and you should be able to find a tv cabinet to compliment your hutch.

L shape

Thanks. Here is what I suggest:

Flip tv and sectional
Remove chaise
Place chaise at angle to left of sofa
End tables on either side of sofa
Move china cabinet down wall toward windows
