Need hallway closet door idea

The picture is showing the hallway door I am having an issue with. We are in the process of taking out all of the original trim, and installing new white trim. Do I paint the closet doors white? Do i paint them an accent color? Also, the wallpaper that we have was from when we bought the house. It will be coming out eventually. Thanks!
