Have you thought about plantation shutters? They would really finish those windows off nicely by adding casement around them and brining some nice white into the room.

I think a bit of color would be nice. I would suggest either a top down/bottom up shade in a printed fabric or a roman shade. Also, you might consider beefing up the window trim a bit. Good Luck!

Honeycomb Cellular Shades would look great. Simplicity and functionality.

part of teh answer might involve what's outside the window -- i.e., are you looking right in your neighbor's kitchen, or is there more space out there? do you need privacy or to keep out the sun, etc.

For the glass doors, you might want to consider functioning draperies with the rod mounted above the transom. Roman shades would look great on the other 2 windows. It's fine to mix styles of treatments, but I would keep the fabric the same.

I wd want the 2 windows to match, but since you don't have space for drapes over the window between the two cabinets, how about a roman shade there plus floor-length drapes in same fabric on other window? (Similar to the "garret park" photo above?)

Thanks for the great advice. Out the nook and kitchen windows is my neighbors bedroom and bathroom. Out the back there are multiple houses. I like the Ronan shades with the curtains on the slider. Can I ask one more...this room is adjacent and along the same wall as the slider, would I put the same drapes on these windows as the slider? If yes how many panels and hung below the transom or above?

I would install the drapery rod above the transom (have it be slightly wider than the width of the 3 lower windows.) This would "connect" the transom window to the lower windows. I suggest stationary tied-back draperies, at least 2 widths each (one width would look too skimpy). The draperies would help conceal that blank wall space above the outer windows...and tying them back will still allow you to enjoy light from these windows. For sun control and privacy, I'd use solar roller shades. Many of these are fairly unobtrusive, so it won't be overly apparent that your kitchen windows don't have solar shades.

The 2nd picture shows draperies with a solar shade. The draperies aren't tied back here, but it gives you an idea of what a solar shade looks like like. It's very unlikely that you will find ready-made window treatments that will fit properly. I recommend that you contact an interior designer or a drapery workroom to help you with fabric and hardware selection, measuring, specifying, fabrication, and installing.
