Hi guys,

I need help designing my living room.
Facts:
- Small room: 17 square meters
- Not too much light, one half of the room is darker than the other
- Light gray floor
- Dark gray corner sofa (IKEA söderhamn in samsta gray)
- Colors I don't like for the walls: Egg shell/beige/cafe/brownish...

The furniture you see in the pictures will all go. I don't like the colors, I had to take it in order to get the apartment.

I've attached a layout of the room as I would like it. One corner sofa, one desk in the lower left and one round table (as shown in the layout, it is extended. Normally it is smaller, well...round). Maybe one or two small shelves, that's it already.
I need to decide on colors for the wall(s), curtains and furniture. I want some colors in the room, but nothing too fancy. Elegant and simple. Since the sofa is dark gray, I think at least the desk and shelves could be black?

Just to give you an idea what I think looks fairly good, I've attached a link to the picture of another living room in gray. Maybe too little colors, I don't know, but not bad!
