How do you keep weeds and grass from growing in the rocks?

There is weed fabric under the entire construction. However leaves blown from above and weed seeds do need some monthly maintenance to keep it clean looking. With the wood sitting on the weed fabric and soil, it will eventually require replacing after a handful of years. So this isn't something I would do over an extended space.
