I'm thinking a cozy sectional and perhaps a cozy chair.

With those type of windows I'd say cellular blinds (for privacy) and maybe some curtains for warmth (and nights)

I think with a substantial sectional, colourful, large cushions. and lots of art work, this room could look stunning.

Sectional sofas can be very hard to arrange in the room--sooo many houzz dilemmas are about sectionals. You'll be much more versatile with a sofa of one fabric and two chairs of another. Definitely don't get a "matched set" of upholstered furniture. Or a matched set of coffee table and end tables.

Love shutters but since we can only see one corner of your room it's hard to say if that would be the best option for you. Shutters don't make a room look cold.

With shutters you have a permanent solution to window covering. No matter what else you do in your room or how many times you redecorate the shutters will always work.

Several of my neighbors have the white or off white shutters in their homes and the look very nice. Various styles of furnishings too. So if that is what you have your heart set on you will not be disappointed.

Your room and windows are beautiful. Plantation shutters are popular where I live, which is a hot climate. They insulate well. They were on every window of my cottage when I bought it...they were difficult for me to live with. You can't put any furniture in front of, or even next to, the windows, because then you can't swing them open....making it hard to open the windows for air. They make the room dark. they make the windows smaller, and you can't clean the window sills. I removed them all and put on cordless cellular shades and drapery panels. Easier for me to operate, and they filter the light rather than block it out completely. But I prefer a light, bright, space, so for people who like a dark, man-cave-like room, they could be ideal. Just my personal experience - I like the way they look, but they drove me crazy. Before/after pics...
