Building our forever home. Do you consider this kitchen to be a classic kitchen? Our new construction will be an open floor plan. I feel like all dark cabinets will be too dark and heavy on one end of the living space; however, I do not see myself having an all white/cream kitchen. I want something timeless/classic but warm and "clean" looking. I would change the backsplash from stainless to tile and my kitchen hood is against the wall - not on the island.
