I am redoing the shower in my master bathroom. It is a pretty small space so we have removed the partition wall between the shower and the toilet. Our plan is to replace that wall with glass to open the space up. We have also removed the cheap shower liner and shower pan with a hope to replace it all with a custom tile job.

I have two questions:

One - how much would it cost to have a pro do the mud shower pan install as well as the backer board? It's a 3'x3' shower. I don't feel confident in my DIY skills to take this one on.

Two - Would a Shower head and body sprayer be too much in such a small shower? I want it to feel luxurious, but don't want to go overboard.
