If they don't work don't use them.

You can create a wall of framed pictures using shelves, such as Pottery Barn's Holman Ledge shelves. You can mix up frames along with small paintings. Here's an example from one of my client projects.

Use them down a hall way or as a collage in a bedroom or office.
Or, put quotes in them for a bathroom or family room. You can spray paint them all the same color in a particular color scheme or paint them in a variety of colors. You can use them as dry erase boards by writing on the glass. You can also use them for hanging family photos or kids art.
And then if you truly can't find any way to use them there is no need to store them any longer so you could find a local scout group, girls 4H club, or retirement center that might be able to use them and craft with them.

I just had another idea! With the holidays coming up you could either use the frames for making seasonal decorations for your home or use the frames for making gifts to give to neighbors or family!! Search Pinterest and online for tons of ideas for using picture frames. There are thousands of free printables already made by others that you could print out. You might be able to use them for very personal homemade gifts while saving some money too. Good luck! Show us what you end up doing!
