Round Floor Vents/ covers??

We are in the remodel stage of our 1976 house. When we gutted our master bath and removed the cabinet/vanity we were surprised to find a round floor vent. Made sense with the cabinet because they just put a vent in the bottom but we are wanting to make our bathroom seem larger and go with a smaller vanity or even pedestal. What in the world do we do about a round floor vent though?? ;-)

you should be able to cut the duct back slightly and then add a typical rectangular vent to the end where it meets the floor, since you've gutted and thus must be installing new floor too.

Don't go pedestal sink unless you have no need to put anything on the counter.
