Quartz Counter Top Choices

We are in the process of building a wet bar which will include a kegerator, wine refrigerator and a sink. The style of the room is mid-century modern. I am considering using MSI Q in arctic white for the countertop. Does anyone have any experience with MSI Q (quartz)? Thoughts re quality, how it is manufactured, where it is manufactured? I have heard that some of the colors are manufactured in China. Is MSI Q an inexpensive version of Silestone or Caesarstone, price and quality wise? Thank you!

Look up Cambria Quartz countertops on Google. Cambria is a U.S. Company that manufactures all of its countertops domestically. They have the best and widest selection of colors. Prices are competitive with others. I would rate them among the very best. Recently completed a new master bath using their materials. The results are absolutely remarkable.

I would definitely NOT use MSI Q. I installed two sheets in my kitchen. I researched and researched the product before I bought, unfortunately, not much info in terms of reviews online. So I mistakenly thought "no news must be good news". I asked the tile shop about quality before I bought, and she said it was on par with the national brands. Well....after 3 months in my kitchen and two kids (7 and 9), I can attest that this does not stand up to kid use. My kid put a jelly jar on the counter in a not so gentle way, and low and behold, the ridges on the bottom of the jar chipped the counters. I've spent the past 2 months trying to contact the company as it's still under warranty, and no resolution. I've emailed about 7 times, and although they responded with "let me look into this", two months have passed and no progress. Do not buy MSI. Crappy product and crappy service.

Wow! I'm so sorry you're going through that. @concon13, is your counter the "Stile thin Porcelain" or is it their quartz product? If quartz, what is the thickness that you installed? Thanks for the details. Let us know how it turned out with your fabricator coming to resolve your issue. best wishes!
