Comments (14)Great! Let us know how it turns out or just post more questions if you need anything. A designer can easily help you with a floorplan. You might want to come up with a floorplan before you go shopping for new furniture, that way you know exactly what you need and have all your dimensions listed so that you are looking for the right sized pieces. Think of it as a list of ingredients for a recipe. The items and exact measurements make all the difference in how it turns out. Hope that helps. Post any questions you might have, there are a lot of us here to give you guidance. C....See MoreRed leather furniture, red coloured hardwood floors, what color could I paint the walls. Comments (4)Cute dog! To make the room lighter: 1) paint walls a lighter color--choose a color you like that will go with red sofa, but get it in a light shade (if you like taupe you could try BM Tucson Winds) 2) Get rid of clashing rug and replace with something lighter and larger--a pattern will hide stains and dog hair better. Then if you are interested in decorating room that's a whole new story--keep sofa and dog, clear out rest of space, get ideas on HOUZZ: :// http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/tucsonwinds...See MoreDISGUSTING exterior color - what colour should I paint this pink?
Comments (39)As a brick manufacturer, we love the look of natural brick and its durability. However, if you do decide to paint the brick, please be prepared for increased maintenance. According to The Brick Industry Association, “Most paint authorities agree that, once painted, exterior masonry will require repainting every three to five years.”...See MoreHelp with laminate flooring colours - light wood/pine color cabinets
Comments (2)The floor shown above is an EXCELLENT option for this unit (which is not yours). If you don't like this colouring, this is going to get very difficult very quickly. This floor is matched to the cabinetry. You might be able to match your floor to your COUNTER TOPS. It looks like this unit has a very light (?white?) counter top. You can use the counter top for inspiration to find a floor that will offer a light, bright, modern finish without being birch/beech coloured. If your cabinets and counters are the same as shown here, you will be limited in your choices. Of course all you need to do is change the counter tops if you want something other than white or off-white. A new counter top colour = new choice for flooring. Have fun. Think of it like dressing yourself...except it is an outfit your condo will wear for a VERY long time. It's like matching your shoes to your outfit. You can match shoes to your pants (which is the same as the floors matching the cabinets in your photo) or you can match your shoes to your BELT (which would be like matching floors to the counter tops). Good luck. Find out the colour of your counter tops and then go shopping for a floor that will work with it....See Moreecco design inc. architects
