hello! I need help with my entrance hall! We are going for a contemporary look - light floor tiles, dark wooden doors. Originally I wanted to change the staircase position and have it floating with glass balustrade and a balcony. But we have hit the ceiling on our budget. So have to work with existing. Current staircase is old fashioned but made from pine. Anyway I could upgrade this old staircase and give it a modern look? Also what to do with the storage? Get rid of it? We will have good storage elsewhere, although we could always make use for more, I would like the entrance hall to look modern and stylish. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
