Need help with curb appeal

We are in the process of selling this house and need to improve curb appeal. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
As we are trying to sell - we of course don't want to pour a ton of money into it.

Freshen up the paint on the shutters and window box with black paint and paint your door and storm door a color to make it stand out, it has to fight for attention next to that huge chimney. I would paint that chimney the same color as the siding too to make it blend in more. Fix that mashed up part of the siding over the windows and make sure your gutters are clear. Trim and reshape shrubs so they are not above the windows.

It you are selling it right now, put out a seasonal potted plant or arrangement.

It is unclear if there is a direct path to your door from the driveway?

Thank you very much for the ideas. There is a direct way from the driveway all the way to the left. However the used entrance is in the back. There is an awning over the window. I had it pulled up to get most sunlight. I think it should be removed. Not an appealing feature.

Even though YOU use the back, you have to play up the front door. It is what people look for when they pull up to see your home. Glad the awning is gone, the light it will allow in is much more important! :)

Some spots of color and a new front door that isn't Victorian.

Paint chimney to blend in. Replace from door and make it a bright color to draw attention to it. Cut back all those ground covers so that people can see the walk from street. Add flowers and a simple seating area near front door area. Nice house!!

Or maybe paint the chimney to match the shutters, but definitely put some large decorative wall hanging on it -- people around here often use eagles, big stars -- I frequently drive by one house that conspicuously lacks a window in a certain position; they use a huge wreath. Google "outdoor wall decor," there's plenty out there, just make sure it's big enough to look in good proportions with windows, etc. Something's wrong with this link, but ex:

Everyone will tell you to paint the front door some fun contrasting color; this wd work well with yr house -- reds and maroons are obvious choices. Agree heartily about the window-boxes, and wd add an extra window box on the window to the left where the shrubs are low. Planter by front door wd also be good. Blank space to immediate right of door suggests bigger front porch light, cute mailbox, wreath & bench..something.

Finally, that's such a pretty line on the round bed under the tree -- to do it justice, I'd definitely plant more of whatever that is to clean up the line and eliminate bald spots.

    Attractive house, good luck!

Paint the chimney same color as house. Try to make it disappear.
