I like low sheen. I have all my trim done in satin, which is just as washable as a higher gloss. All my walls are matte, a washable flat. Sheen reflects light which can change our perception of the color. When my kitchen cabinets were done, they were done in semi-gloss, but when I do them again, I'll do them in satin. I painted the trim just recently in satin and like the look much better.
